"This interesting grape called Albarino is indigenous to Spain and grows near the ocean. This is a classic version with citrus and pineapple aromas. It is a little zippy and slightly fizzy with flavors of subdued salty peaches and pear. Very fresh and tasty to pair with scallops."

Palacio De Fefinanes
Fresh fruit aromas of apricot and peach slices with notes of lemon and green apple. Pretty notes of honey and wet nutmeg, and the mouth is round, clean, and pleasant with baked apple, honey, and lemon. This is a classic Albariño which is good young, but actually improves over two to three years and remains quite drinkable for up to five years. Owner Juan Gil comments that the wine really starts to come into its own in June/July, and he actually prefers it 18 or more months after it's made.
Wine Spectator
Tangerine, ginger, brine and floral notes mingle in this expressive white, which has a generous, pillowy texture, but plenty of citric acidity to maintain freshness and liveliness. Drink now. 7,000 cases made.

Wine Enthusiast
Clean, crisp, cut, this has a minerally white-fruit nose. It's elegant and chiseled on the palate, with bright peach and nectarine flavors that carry onto a tight, dry, flinty finish. An elegant, lifted Albariño with a lightness of being.

Biodynamic designation is regulated by Demeter, an international certification organization. Biodynamic agriculture is based on the view of a farm as a self-contained organism. Certified organic vineyards must meet Demeter"s additional criteria for a period of one year before earning the designation "biodynamic."
Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
