To the eye, it has a deep, dark colour with ruby glints around the rim. Its nose surprises you with its delicate balance of aromas. The wine opens up with ripe red berry aromas wich mingle with smoky nuances and hints of spices. Over the months, the aromas have become more and more complex, with reminders of its evolution coming through in the guise of leather and tobacco, among others.
On the palate it is full and round, thanks to its long period in the bottle. Confirming all the best expectations, it lingers on after swallowing the wine, with a soft, smooth sensation in which elegance is the most marked impression.
Wine Advocate
The 2005 Cerro Anon Gran Reserva is the same blend as the Reserva. The wine is racked into new casks for malolactic fermentation and lees aging for two months with occasional stirring. It is then racked into new oak for six months. It has a lovely ripe bouquet of dark cherries, blood orange and leather that carries the oak well, offering touches of dark chocolate with time. The palate is harmonious on the entry with fine tannins and clean, precise fruit. This is a Rioja that is in synch with the new oak, the finish smooth and sensual if missing a little personality. Drink now-2017.

Wine Spectator
ender and expressive, this red is maturing nicely, with cedar and tar notes joining black cherry, licorice and coffee flavors. There's a lively texture, with light, firm tannins and slightly balsamic acidity. Drink now through 2014. 9,000 cases made.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
