"This joint product from Italy's Allegrini and Argentina's Renacer is made from partially dried Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Bonarda. It has a concentrated nose of raisin, plum and spice. It is medium-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, plum, black cherry and spice. This is a new world Valpolicella with a twist!"

The 2009 Enamore Allegrini & ReNacer is composed of 60% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance Cabernet Franc and Bonarda aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Made in an Amarone style with dried grapes, it is a full-bodied, layered, sweet, and densely packed offering that will deliver prime drinking from 2013 to 2021.

Wine Enthusiast
Black plum, blackberry, lemon zest and licorice are the key aromas on this Amarone-patterned blend from Argentina. The palate is concentrated, rich and lush, with grabby, soft tannins and sweet flavors of blackberry, brown sugar and caramel. Toasty and mild on the finish, with jammy thickness.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
