Tenuta San Guido
The wine is characterized by a very intense violet color. On the nose, it is very long and persistent; the palate has an excellent, well balanced structure that is well-rounded, gentle and delicate. Its significant organoleptic depth, which is soft and round, and good polyphenolic structure, results in a wine that is best enjoyed upon release.
Wine Spectator
Cherry, black currant, violet and iron notes mingle in this medium-bodied, intense red, which tends toward a lean, sinewy profile, yet remains long and persistent. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Best from 2013 through 2020.

Wine Advocate
The 2010 Guidalberto comes across as cool and inward in this vintage. Most recent Guidalbertos have been delicious upon release, but this is a wine that will need another year or two before it starts opening up. There is plenty of energy and vitality in the glass, but readers will need to be patient. Dark red cherries, flowers, licorice and a hint of tobacco are layered into the firm, structured finish. In 2010 the blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020.

Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
