 Established in 1968, Roquebrun's cooperative wine cellars are situated in the Haut Languedoc National Park, 30km north of Beziers and between the two regional capitals of Montpellier and Toulouse in France. Roquebrun is a delightful medieval village that clings to the brown rock after which it is named. The vineyards are spread over an area of 1235 acres of south facing hillsides. Their vines have optimum exposure to the sun in a village framed by mountains protecting them on one side and with the River Orb flowing through and moderating the climate. Their environment, know-how and history have won them international recognition, including several medals and mentions in guides and competitions. And this wine is no different. As you can see by the score they consistently over-deliver on their wines especially considering the reasonable price. |
