"Tasted single blind against its peers. Having been parsimonious with my score last year due to some sulphur issues, I can report that Guiraud has turned good/very good. It has a very fine bouquet with scents of lemon curd, pineapple and quince that gains momentum in the glass. The palate is supremely well-balanced with crisp acidity. There are a myriad of flavors in this Sauternes with dried honey, quince, Seville orange marmalade and a touch of ginger. There is also great persistency towards the finish. This is a sublime Sauternes."
