Louis Jadot
Slightly fuller in body, with somewhat less finesse, fragrance and finish than Le Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet is also a bit less accessible in its youth. With age, it shows a sumptuous richness and complex palette of luscious fruit flavors, with distinct toasty nuances in the bouquet and finish.
Wine Spectator
This has plenty of power. Starts out with a swagger, introducing the apricot, pineapple and toast flavors, then picks up again on the finish, where the bracing structure emerges, driving the dried citrus, toast, spice, and mineral flavors to a long conclusion. Best from 2010 through 2030.
