Château Souverain
The 2006 Alexander Valley Sauvignon Blanc offers just the right balance between bright, crisp varietal character and a gentle touch of barrel influence from the winemaker’s hand. Inviting aromas of Meyer lemon, grapefruit and lemon pudding lead to juicy flavors of citrus, lime and vanilla cream on the palate. The finish is supported by a crisp acidity that accentuates the classic Sauvignon varietal flavors and inspires the next sip.
Wine Spectator
Passion fruit, mango, pineapple and jalapeño flavors are bright and tangy, with crisp acidity and ripe tropical fruit flavors. There's good intensity to the flavors, with a long, lingering finish. Drink now. 12,000 cases made.
