Château Talbot
This classified growth of Saint-Julien owes its first-rate reputation to the particularly charming character of its wine. Unfailingly consistent, Talbot embodies with elegance all the complexity of its terroir. Its firm, well-rounded tannins offer a smoothness ever present over the years. Being highly concentrated, it can be left to age for many years even though it is tempting to drink it young to enjoy the fullness of its fruity aromas and silken finish.
Wine Enthusiast
A big, spicy wine that shows pedigree and potential. The fruit is solid and black and sweet, with less acidity to taste than many wines of this year.

Impressive ripeness for this vintage, with a raisiny, almost jammy undertone and interesting coffee and wood character. Full-bodied and chewy. Well done.
