Quivira
Dark cherry and bramble fruit lead to a medium‐full mouth feel and fresh flavors of blackberries with a hint of bakers chocolate. Beginning with the 2005 vintage, we have chosen to bottle this wine unfiltered in order to preserve all of its charm and character. Food Pairings: Sweet-spice rubbed or marinated pork, ribs, and steaks are a natural match for this full Zinfandel.
Wine Enthusiast
Quivira’s basic ’05 Zin is a polished, attractive wine, dry and rich in cherries, raspberries, vanilla and dusty spices. It has a silky texture, and will go well with grilled meats and poultry and hard cheeses.
