"B Crux", will age in oak barrels, 50 per cent new and 50 per cent second year, for 12 months and in bottles for a minimum of six months.
Wine Advocate
The 2008 B Crux is composed of 60% Tempranillo, 30% Malbec, and 10% Merlot aged for 12 months in 50% new French and American oak and bottled without filtration. Expressive aromas of wood smoke, violets, mineral, black cherry, and blackberry inform the nose of a layered, ripe, concentrated wine with impeccable balance and length. It is likely to evolve for 1-2 years but can be approached now.

Wine Enthusiast
Opens with horsey, leathery aromas that are funky and wild, but are surrounded by solid berry-fruit scents. Picks up steam on the palate, which is easygoing, solidly built and just firm enough. Tastes of blackberry, cola, spice and chocolate, then finishes smooth and creamy.

Wine Spectator
Rich and aromatic, with layers of leather, tobacco and smoke mixing with dark plum and black cherry notes. Fine-grain tannins add weight, as smoky fruit lingers on the finish. Tempranillo, Malbec and Merlot.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying.
