Kaiken
This Malbec shows a beautiful ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose, flowery and mineral notes are evident, with spicy touches that make the wine more complex and are finely blended with the elegance of the French oak
On the mouth it's a wine of great structure and power, with tannins that are both soft and present. It has an outstanding balance and a very long and polished finish, where red fruits like blueberry and boysenberry are evident. The wine is ready to be enjoyed now and has the potential to be cellared for at least ten years.

Opaque and offering a lush collection of black fruit aromas on what amounts to a deep, dense bouquet. Layered and displaying excellent size and texture, with saturated, meaty black-fruit flavors along with toasty, integrated oak. This dark, jammy red displays rich plum, dark cherry and grilled fig notes, fortified with mocha, salted licorice and underbrush flavors, which expand with some air.

Wine Advocate
The 2010 Ultra Malbec is from the Uco Valley and is blended with 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in new and used Nadalie and Radoux barrels. It has a perfumed bouquet of dark cherries, Christmas cake and raisin that is well-defined, fresh and exotic. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet chewy tannins, crisp acidity and a slightly overdone but rich, espresso-tinged finish. Not quite the "ultra," but certainly a fine, hedonistic Malbec. Drink now-2016.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
