2007 was an excellent vintage in the Douro Valley for both Port and Douro DOC and some very fine wines were made. The dry albeit cool conditions leading up to the vintage produced perfectly ripened grapes providing the winemakers much scope to produce fruity, aromatic, well balanced wines. more
