A dark, plush and velvety style, with notes of plum sauce, warm cherry preserves and linzer torte that glide along, while baker's chocolate, espresso and graphite pump through the densely packed finish. Chewy overall, but has the stuffing to mellow in the cellar. Best from 2014 through 2021. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 4,500 cases made.
Blueberries and some yogurt. Some flowery notes and ripe strawberries. Full and sweet on the palate with smooth tannins and fairly good length. The fruit is almost jammy, but the wine is soft and enjoyable to drink already now. Better in 2015.
