"This power house has aromas of black pepper, leather, anise, cedar and woody stewed fruit. It is full-bodied and approachable with earthy, dark fruit, black tea, clove and olive flavors. Perfect for lamb."

Clos des Brusquieres
The average age of the vines is 40 years, with some vines dating back to the early 1900s. All the grapes are hand harvested during multiple passes through the vines. The wine is feremented in cement tanks, lasting anywhere from 3-4 weeks; the cap is punched down and the wine is pumped over. Ageing takes place in neutral wood. The wines are neither filtered nor fined.
Bright purple. Powerful, deeply pitched aromas of cherry compote, licorice and spicy underbrush. Sweet, fleshy and focused, showing good heft to its ripe cherry, smoky plum and cassis flavors. Finishes dense, minerally and long, with very smooth tannins. This wine is showing more power than I usually expect from this estate.
