The Finca Antigua Crianza was fermented in stainless steel tanks, macerated for 20 days and reared for 12 months in French oak barrels and American. Shows an intense ruby color of medium-high, bright and crystalline. Nose has memories creamy, pastry and dairy notes. Fund mineral balsam memories. In the mouth shows a developing area of high volume, with a long finish and creamy posgusto. Ideal to accompany rice and pastas, cheeses and cured meats and half white.
Tobacco, cedar and loamy notes accent cherry, herbal and citrus peel flavors in this dense yet supple red. Offers light, firm tannins and a citrusy finish. Drink now through 2015. 25,000 cases made.
This Crianza is a blend of 50% Tempranillo with 20% each Cabernet and Merlot, and 10% Syrah. It’s dry and lively, with lots of fruit and well-hidden astringency that makes the wine such a good palate-cleanser with food. We think this is a great value, especially if you compare with prices for Rioja Crianza- AND this has more body than most Riojas.
