The Viura grape is also known as Macabeo. It generally thrives in the Rioja region of Spain, but this one hails from la Mancha. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a light, aromatic with wildflowers and best consumed young. This one has some candied ginger and hard lemon candy flavors that give it just a touch of sweetness. This can handle seafood, paella, risotto and slightly spicy dishes.

The 2011 Finca Antigua Viura offers a fragrant, floral bouquet with honeysuckle and jasmine scents mixed with a touch of vanilla pod.
