This sparklermade its first-ever appearance when it was served exclusively to the King and Queen of Spain. The aromas are an enticing mix of citrus, butter and freshly baked bread. It has a creamy palate, with flavors of apples, toasted almond and butterscotch. As I tasted it at their Carneros winery in California, it paired exquisitely with gooey cheeses.
