The wet winter of 2005/06 allowed us to begin dry farm a portion of our pinot noir vineyards. This vintage utilizes the more concentrated flavors produced by dry farming to accent the blend of the final wine. The aromatics have the now traditional high toned red fruits and orange peel plus raspberries and cinnamon. This wine packs a punch on the palate. A rich, weighty mouthfeel full of our classic cherry/berry combination shows through immediately, uninterrupted by oak or tannin. Very ripe-fruit and fruit-forward, this newest vintage is a crowd pleaser.
